Travel to The Greek Coast With Me!

Let’s take a trip to Greece together and learn the history of this traditional easter bread called lambropsomo. In my world geography class we have been learning about the different cultures along the coasts and one that fascinated me the most was Greece because of its rich cuisine and how similar it is to other mediteranean food. Lambropsomo is a fluffy dough with a crunchy crust made to eat with lamb. But the most interesting part about it is the message behind the design. The dough is split into three strings and braided to represent the holy trinity. They also tuck four red eggs into the bread to symbolize the blood of Jesus Christ.
