Today I found a video that brought such a fresh twist on an old favorite of my family. Knafeh is traditional arab and middle eastern dish where you bake sugar coated shredded filo dough, with a cheesy center until toasted and drench it in a sugar syrup.
In the Video she cooks the dough separate and adds biscoff butter then layers it in a dish with a Lotus Biscoff whipped cream. Although it is not my recipe I wanted to share my results and the recipe with you guys.
It was such a cool and new twist that my family enjoyed a lot if you love biscoff and knafeh it is such a unique way to eat them. The video is on youtube and many youtubers have different ways of making it. I watched a few and made it the way I thought my family would like best.
