Hi! My name is Malaq Ali and I'm a 17 year old Egyptian-American chef/student living in the Bay Area. Ever since I could remember, my love for cooking & eating has had no bounds. Living in the Bay, I have experienced the magic that sprouts from learning about different cultures and how wonderful it can be to try new things.
With this in mind, I have created this blog in hopes of sharing my wonderful culinary experiences with others! Every post contains information on traditions from all over the world I embrace, as well as my own spin on traditional ethnic recipes.

Food is an art form, a story, a chance to understand and embrace. An opportunity to share. Widening of world and something that can identify the new and far more likely to engage with a food then the people of the culture. When something is delicious it is easy to embrace.
